Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Vermeil Bordeaux Fountain Pen - EF - DIPPED

1 in stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Montblanc Meisterstuck Bordeaux Resin 146 LeGrand AG925 Vermeil Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box. The pen was only ever dipped and on inspection we found no trace of ink inside the barrel – the pen is presented in wonderful condition. The EF sticker, confirming an extra fine nib, can still be found on the barrel.

We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now very difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

This is the rare Vermeil version, which features an AG925 sterling silver cap, which is then gold- plated. These examples work particularly well with the Bordeaux resin and the overall effect is stunning.

Being a LeGrand, this is a piston filling pen – so your choice here is bottled ink.

The important details are as follows…

– Wonderful Condition

– Serial Number, Germany and Metal3 markings present

– Montblanc Presentation Box

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.

With these no longer being available, this represents a great opportunity to purchase a wonderful example at a keen price.
