Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Vacheron Constantin Fountain Pen, which comes with its lacquered Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and unstamped booklet . The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition (a small mark on the bottom of the presentation box) – the M sticker, confirming a medium nib, can still be found on the cone.
These pens were produced for VC’s 125th anniversary, with them being gifted to very special customers and senior members of staff. The style takes its inspiration from the Montblanc Doue Signum, with the pen featuring a steel cap and piston cone, with the barrel being engraved with the Vacheron Constantin cross symbol.
Both serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip ring.
The pen is fitted with an 18k bi-tone medium nib and it’s a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 18k Bi-Tone Medium Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Serial Number markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
