Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Solitaire Calligraphy Gold Leaf Flex Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and warranty card – confirming first purchase on 8th April 2022. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition.

The Gold Leaf is a stunning release from Montblanc and the design was chosen to represent a contemporary take on the traditional black and gold colourscheme. The barrel and cap are coated in black translucent lacquer, which is then finished in gold leaf – this is applied by hand, with the result being that every pen being slightly different.

The 146 is a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here. The serial number can be found on the clip ring.

The pen is fitted with an 18k flexible nib – it’s not a full flex nib but with careful varying pressure it can go from an extra fine 0.3mm to a double broad 1.6mm line width.
