Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Hematite Steel Solitaire Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box. The pen has never been inked and is presented in wonderful condition.

 

 

 

The Hematite pens were available for a relatively short-period of time and in our opinion are amongst the most interesting of all the Solitaire offerings. The cap is crafted from Hematite and being an organic substance, every single pen is slightly different. The grey tones of the stone, almost shimmer in the light. The barrel is produced from stainless steel, with the trim being platinum-plated.

 

 

 

Both serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip ring.

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with an 18k bi-tone medium nib and is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
