Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck Gold Line 146 LeGrand Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (some marks to the top of this). The pen has been lightly used and is presentd in overall excellent condition – the gold trim is bright and the black precious resin has a deep shine.
The pen is fitted with a rarer 18k bi-tone fine nib. This is a simple pen to date as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font), making it a 1991-92 example.
The 146 is a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 18k Bi-Tone Fine Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Serial Number markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
