Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer – some wear to this). The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition.
The pen originally dates from the earlier part of the 1980s (monotone nib, Germany clip markings and solid ink window) and these older 146s are just a delight. To find one in unused conditon is such a treat, as there’s just something about these older 146’s that set them apart from their modern counterparts.
The pen is fitted with a 14k monotone oblique broad nib (split ebonite feed) and it’s a piston filler, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 14k Monotone Oblique Broad Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Germany markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
