Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (a few light marks to this) and information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition – the F sticker (the text is slightly faded), denoting a fine nib, remains on the barrel.
These older 146’s are such a delight, theres a glow to the resin that almost gives it a lacquered appearance. The pen dates to the mid 1980s, with it’s Germany only clip ring marking, along with solid ink window and split ebonite feed.
The pen is fitted with a 14k monotone fine nib and it’s a piston filler, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 14k Monotone Fine Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Essentially As New Condition
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
