Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box. The pen has never been inked and is presented in wonderful condition – the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel. There are a few tiny marks on the clip (shown in the photos), but this is an extremely minor point
These older 146’s are such a delight, theres a glow to the resin that almost gives it a lacquered appearance. The pen dates to the early 1980s, with it’s Germany only clip ring marking, along with solid ink window, larger sectio collar and split ebonite feed.
The pen is fitted with a 14c monotone medium nib and it’s a piston filler, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 14c Monotone Medium Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Wonderful Condition
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
