Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Barley Fountain Pen - W.Germany

Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Barley Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped information booklet. The pen was new old stock until earlier this year and has only been inked a handful of times since, so overall it’s presented in fantastic condition (only the tiniest of marks to the non-barley element on the cap).

This particular pen is the gold-plated barley version, which features a brass barrel and cap, which is then gold-plated. The intricate barley design is one of our favourites! Date wise, this pen has features from both previous and current generations, so likely it will be around 1990. It has the current style bi-tone nib, but earlier solid ink window and split ebonite fee.

The pen is fitted with an 18k bi-tone fine nib and is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink

The important details are as follows…

– 18K Bi-Tone Fine Nib

– Piston Filling Mechanism

– Montblanc Presentation Box

– Fantastic Condition

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
