Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Platinum Coated Demonstrator Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition.

Montblanc Demonstrators are unicorn pens that rarely appear for sale… they’ve never been a production model and we doubt they ever will be. This is a LeGrand platinum-coated pen with the barrel, section and the main element of the cap also being clear resin. The cone and cap top are black resin. One of our favourite details that is revealed on these demonstrators, is that you can see that the three cap rings are actually one joined piece (shown in the photos) – with the standard coloured resin pens this isn’t visible, so it’s lovely to see these intricate details.

The pen is fitted with a 14k bi-tone medium nib and it’s a piston filler, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
