Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Bordeaux Fountain Pen – Serviced by MB NOV 21

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Bordeaux Gold Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen has just returned from being serviced by Montblanc in Hamburg (the paperwork will be supplied to the purchaser) where it also had a complete new cap, including clip. The barrel and piston cone are in overall lovely condition – there appears to be a tiny mark towards the end of the nib, but this doesn’t affect the writing experience.

We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now more difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

The clip ring features both serial number and Germany markings.

The pen is fitted with a 14k medium bi-tone nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
