Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand AG925 Pinstripe Fountain Pen – 1991-92 – EF

Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand AG925 Solitaire Pinstripe Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblancpresentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in lovely condition (a couple of marks on the cap) – there is the tiniest dot of platinum-plating loss on the nib, which is shown in the photos. The pen was serviced by Montblanc in Hamburg, in June 2021, and the paperwork will be supplied to the purchaser.

This particular pen is the pinstripe version, with both the cap and barrel being produced from AG925 Sterling Silver – which is then engraved with an intricate pinstripe pattern. This pen is simple to date as it features the first generation serial number, which is both shorter and in a different font… so we can date it to 1991-92 and coupled with W.Germany markings, likely it is 1991. It also features the previous generation solid ink window.

The pen is fitted with an 18k bi-tone extra fine nib and is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

The important details are as follows…

– 18K Bi-Tone Extra Fine Nib

– Piston Filling Mechanism

– Montblanc Presentation Box

– Lovely Condition

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
