Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 Gold Line Fountain Pen - 1970s - OBB Nib

1 in stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck Gold Line 146 LeGrand Fountain Pen, which comes with an izods presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used over the years, and is presented in very good condition – the gold trim is bright and the black precious resin has a deep shine.

This is a very early resin example of the 146, with it featuring the more pronounced feed housing collar along with the first generation text on the main cap ring. This pen also has a single unit barrel. The clip ring features no markings and the pen has a solid grey ink window and split ebonite feed.

The pen is fitted with a glorious Oblique Double Broad 18c Monotone nib and being a 146 it’s a piston filler (we’ve serviced the mechanism), so your choice here is bottled ink.

The important details are as follows…

– 18C Monotone Oblique Double Broad Nib

– izods Presentation Box

– Very Good Condition

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
