Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Bordeaux Vermeil Fountain Pen

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Bordeaux Vermeil Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used over the years, and is presented in overall very good condition.

We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now more difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

This is the rare Vermeil version, with the cap being sterling silver, which is then gold-plated. The gold works brilliantly with the Bordeaux resin.

Both serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip ring.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (not supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
