Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Bordeaux Fountain Pen – 1991-92

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Bordeaux Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been carefully used over the years and is presented in overall lovely condition.

We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now more difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

The clip rings feature both a first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font) along with W.Germany markings – placing it between 1991-92, with it likely being 1991.

The pen is fitted with a 14k medium bi-tone nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (original version supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
