Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Mark Twain Fountain Pen, Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil, which comes with its Montblanc book-style presentation box (including outers) and unstamped service guide. All three writing instruments have never been used and are presented in essentially as new condition. All have the limitation number 2250.

Launched in 2010 as the yearly release in the Writers Edition series, this edition pays tribute to the American author Mark Twain. Crafted from a deep blue resin, the filigree wave design reflects both the river of his homeland, the Mississippi. The nib on the fountain pen is engraved with two threads, which was the nautical measurement used for navigation by river steamers on the Mississippi in the 19th century.

The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler – so your choice here is bottled ink. The ballpoint will have a new refill and the pencil has 0.7mm leads.
