Montblanc Marcel Proust Writers Edition Fountain Pen – UNUSED

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Limited Edition Marcel Proust Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style box (including outers) and unstamped information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition – the F sticker, confirming a fine nib, can still be found on the piston cone. Only 21000 pens were produced and this is number 09322.

Every year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 1999 it was Marcel Proust and in the years following its release, it has taken on legendary status. The eight-sided barrel is engraved in a style that reflects the time when Proust was at his most creative. His signature can also be found engraved as part of the design.

The cap, piston cone and grip section are crafted from black resin, with the trim being sterling silver.

The 18k fine nib features a fine engraving of an hour glass. The pen is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
