Montblanc La Donna Ingrid Bergman Special Edition Fountain Pen

Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc La Donna Ingrid Bergman Special Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer – the label is a mismatch for the ballpoint version) and information booklet. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. There are some ink marks and light flaking to the inner lining of the presentation box and these are shown in the photos.

The cap is coated in a mother of pearl style lacquer, with the pattern resembling the distinctive skirts that Bergman liked to wear – her signature is also engraved in to the cap. The barrel of the pen is crafted from black precious, which offers a wonderful contrast. The metal trim is red gold plated and it’s topped off with an amethyst on the clip which is supposed to symbolise calmness, clarity and tolerance – traits for which Bergman was known and loved all over the world.

The usual markings are present with its unique serial number on the clip ring – the Montblanc emblem sits atop the pen.

This pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib, which has a heart shaped breather hole. It’s a cartridge only filler.
