Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc La Donna Ingrid Bergman Special Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition – the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel. There is a little bit of flaking to the linining of the presentation box (common on this style).

The cap is coated in a mother of pearl style lacquer, with the pattern resembling the distinctive skirts that Bergman liked to wear – her signature is also engraved in to the cap. The barrel of the pen is crafted from black precious, which offers a wonderful contrast. The metal trim is red gold plated and it’s topped off with an amethyst on the clip which is supposed to symbolise calmness, clarity and tolerance – traits for which Bergman was known and loved all over the world.

The usual markings are present with its unique serial number on the clip ring – the Montblanc snowcap sits atop the pen.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge only filler.
