Thanks very much for looking at this wonderful Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir Coral Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 2nd September 2017. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. At the point of first purchase, the pen was sent to Montblanc in Hamburg, for a nib exchange from a medium to a fine (the paperwork is included).
The Rouge et Noir name dates back to 1906 and Montblanc resurrected the name for the 110th anniversary. This clip features a winding serpent, with green spinels for eyes. The biggest difference between this pen and the other Rouge et Noir offerings is that it’s produced from fantastic coral-coloured resin, rather than the traditional black.
The 14k fine nib features fine engraving of a serpent and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
The important details are as follows…
– 14k Fine Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Serial Number markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
