Montblanc Heritage 1912 Fountain Pen – BB Nib

Thanks very much for looking at this wonderful Montblanc Heritage Collection 1912 Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase in June 2018. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition – there are some very light marks on one point around the barrel, where the cap has been screwed on (often found on the 1912 pens).

The 1912 pens have now been discontinued and have a very loyal following! Modelled on one of the first Simplo safety filler pens, these have a fantastic two stage mechanism, where you can twist to hide or reveal the nib, then gently pull the piston cone and turn to active the piston filling mechanism.

The 14k double broad (this was swapped from a medium at first purchase) nib is a delight and these Heritage nibs have a bounce to them which make them very enjoyable to write with.

The mother-of-pearl lacquered snowcap emblem sits proudly atop the pen.
