Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Great Characters Muhammad Ali Special Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box, soft pouch and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 9th January 2024. The pen has been very lightly used amd is presented in fantastic condition.

The pen pays tribute to one of the most legendary sportsmen and three-time Heavyweight Champion of the world, Muhammad Ali. It’s crafted from black resin, with the cap resembling a boxing sack. The tactile design on the barrel is a nod to the tape used by boxers to wrap their hands. The cap includes several references to Ali, including the exclamation he used and a butterfly, inspired by his fighting style. The cone has four engraved lines representing the ropes of a boxing ring. The inscripitions refer to his victory at the 1960 Olympic Games and his first Heavyweight Championship victory in 1964. The Montblanc snowcap emblem is adorned with the number 1. The clip is shaped like a boxing championship belt.

The pen is fitted with a 14k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
