Montblanc Edgar Allan Poe Limited Edition Fountain Pen – DIPPED

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Edgar Allan Poe Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and unstamped information booklet. The pen was only dipped to test, so is presented in wonderful condition. Only 17000 pens were produced and this is number 05516. The M sticker, confirming a medium nib, can still be found on the piston cone.

Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 1998 they chose the legendary American writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe. Famed for his tales of horror and the supernatural, the pen is crafted from a marbled midnight blue resin, with Victorian style ornamentation decorating the ring beneath the clip.

The 18k medium nib features a fine engraving of a Raven, a nod to “The Raven”, his world renowned poem. This is a piston filling pen, so bottled ink is your choice here.
