Montblanc Donation Series Yehudi Menuhin Special Edition Fountain Pen - UNUSED

Out of stock

Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Special Edition Yehudi Menuhin Fountain Pen, which comes with its original large presentation box, CD and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 29th January 2002. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition.

The Yehudi Menuhin pens are part of the Montblanc Donation Series and are always incredibly popular amongst fans and collectors.

Yehudi Menuhin is known for being one of the most famous violinists and conductors in recent history. The most obvious nod to this is the clip, which is shaped like the neck of a violin. His signature can also be found on the cap ring. Born in New York in 1916, Menuhin captivated audiences worldwide… Menuhin’s contract with EMI spanned seven decades, making it the longest recording contract of any artist in history.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled. We particularly enjoy the blue tinged ink window, a nod to more historical Montblanc offerings.

The important details are as follows…

– Medium Nib

– Virtually As New Condition

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
