Montblanc Donation Series Herbert von Karajan SE Fountain Pen - UNUSED

1 in stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Donation Series Herbert von Karajan Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outer), information booklet, silk scarf and unstamped service guide. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition – the B sticker, confirming a broad nib, can still be found on the piston cone.

Part of the Donation Series, the Herbert von Karajan pays tribute to one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century.

This is one of the most instantly recognisable Donation pens, with its distinctive piano key cap – a nod to the start of his career. The clip is shaped like a conductor’s baton and as with other donation pens, the 18k broad nib features an engraving of the dove of peace. We particularly like the blue tinged ink window on these pens.

This is a piston filling pen, so bottled ink is your choice here.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
