Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Donation Series Herbert von Karajan Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outer), information booklet, silk scarf and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 22nd August 2006. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition.
Part of the Donation Series, the Herbert von Karajan was released in 2003. The pen is crafted from black resin, with the trim being platinum-plated. The clip features an inlay in the shape of a conductors batton. The cap has a piano key design, where the rings are usually found. We particularly like the blue-tinged ink window.
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
