Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Charles Dickens Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style presentation box (including outer) and unstamped paperwork (the original owner has signed the paperwork). The pen has just returned from being serviced by Montblanc in Hamburg and is presented in lovely condition. The M sticker, confirming a medium nib, can still be found on the pen. We’ve not fully polished the sterling silver, as some customers prefer a little patina.

The Victorian era is generally viewed as one of the most outstanding periods of English culture. Its special elegance is recaptured in this writers edition (launched in 2001). The barrel, made of greenish precious resin, is decorated with the writer’s signature.

The AG925 sterling silver fluted cap and the rhodium-plated 18k medium nib, with its engraving of the monogram of Charles Dickens, provide an elegant finishing touch to this tribute to the most famous author of the Victorian era.

Charles Dickens is still one of the best-known and most frequently read authors of English literature. His unique skill for creating true pictures from words, his unerring feel for the mood of Victorian England and the power and passion of his trenchant and satirical narratives have alternately made his readers laugh and moved them to tears.

Being a piston filler, your choice here is bottled ink.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.

The pen is ready for many years of use or simply to be tucked away as part of a wider collection. With the prices of the writers edition pens continuing to rise, this represents a great opportunity to purchase a lovely example, at a keen price and from a trusted seller.
