Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Boheme Vert Emerald Fountain pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 20th January 2003. For those not familiar with the Boheme range, they’re the perfect size for travelling and taking to meetings. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, and is presented in overall lovely condition – there are some small marks on the gold ring at the base of the nib, which isn’t uncommon on the Boheme range.
The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small, which is the version that features the retractable nib mechanism. As such it’s cartridge only.
This particular example is the rare ‘vert’ model, which has a beautiful combination of gold trim with a vibrant synthetic, paramount cut emerald, found on the clip. The Vert is an oddity in the Boheme lineup as it was only sold in certain markets and appeared in both platinum and gold trim. In our opinion it’s one of the most eye-catching resin based Boheme’s.
The important details are as follows…
– 14K Medium Nib
– Lovely Condition
– Montblanc Presentation Box
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
