Montblanc Boheme Steel Noir Fountain Pen

Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Boheme Steel Noir Fountain pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 30th September 2003. For those not familiar with the Boheme range, they’re the perfect size for travelling and taking to meetings. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition – as with all steel pens, there are usage marks, which simply cannot be avoided. There is also a tiny bit of pitting on the metal collar by the nib, but this is simply mentioned for a complete description.

Both serial number and France markings (some Montblanc metal pens were produced in France) can be found on the clip ring. The pen is fitted with a 18k medium nib.

The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small (the most common) and it features the ingenious retractable nib, which was modelled on this historic safety pens. To raise or lower the nib unit, you simply turn the end of the pen – when not in use the nib is fully retracted. This is a cartridge filling pen.

This is the rarer Steel Noir (first launched in 2000) – it features a synthetic onyx gemstone on the clip and stainless steel cap and barrel.

The important details are as follows…

– 18K Medium Nib

– Lovely Condition

– Serial Number Ring Marking

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
