Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Boheme Noir Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 3rd March 2003. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition – there is some wear to one part of the platinum-plated trim on the cone and this is shown in the photos.
The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small (the most common) and it features the ingenious retractable nib, which was modelled on this historic safety pens. To raise or lower the nib unit, you simply turn the end of the pen – when not in use the nib is fully retracted. This is a cartridge filling pen.
The Noir features a synthetic onyx on the clip and the serial number can be found on the clip ring.
The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib.
The important details are as follows…
– Medium Nib
– Excellent Condition
– Serial Number and Germany markings
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
