Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Boheme Marron Red Gold Fountain pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped service guide. For those not familiar with the Boheme range, they’re the perfect size for travelling and taking to meetings. The pen has never been used and as such is presented in virtually as new condition. The M sticker, confirming a medium nib, is still on the barrel and the empty demonstration cartridge remains inside the pen.
Both serial number and metal markings can be found on the clip ring. The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib.
The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small (the most common) and it features the ingenious retractable nib, which was modelled on this historic safety pens. To raise or lower the nib unit, you simply turn the end of the pen – when not in use the nib is fully retracted. This is a cartridge filling pen.
The Marron is one of the rarer offerings from the Boheme range – it features a synthetic smoky brown, paramount cut, topaz on the clip and the trim is red-gold plated.
The important details are as follows…
– 14K Medium Nib
– Virtually As New Condition
– Serial Number Clip Ring Marking
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
