Montblanc Boheme Doue Gold-Plated Fountain Pen – UNUSED – March 21

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Boheme Rouge Fountain pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 1st March 2021. For those not familiar with the Boheme range, they’re the perfect size for travelling and taking to meetings. The pen has never been used and was simply a retail display item, so it’s presented in fantastic overall condition.

The M sticker, confirming a medium nib, remains on the barrel and the empty demonstration cartridge is inside the pen.

Both serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip ring. The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib.

The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small (the most common) and it features the ingenious retractable nib, which was modelled on this historic safety pens. To raise or lower the nib unit, you simply turn the end of the pen – when not in use the nib is fully retracted. This is a cartridge filling pen.

The Doue Gold-Plated is one of the most interesting models, with its satin black resin barrel and gold-plated cap. Both of these then have small dimples, which makes it a very tactile pen to use. The clip is adorned with a synthetic, paramount cut, onyx gemstone.
