Montblanc Around the World in 80 Days Classique Fountain Pen – OM Nib

Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck Around the World in 80 Days Classique Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outer), sealed set of playing cards and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 31st May 2021. The pen has barely been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. Upon intial purchase, it was sent to Montblanc to have the nib changed to an oblique medium and the paperwork confirming this, is included.

Taking its inspiration from the famous novel by Jules Verne, the blue resin writing instruments are a nod to the first part of the journey. Travelling by steamboat, from London to Bombay, the blue reflects the waters of the Mediterranean. The cap has a milled design, featuring ocean waves, card suits and a cartouche with a laser engraved steam boat. Across the cap top it features the length of the journey, so 18 days from London to Bombay and a total of 80 days.

The pen is fitted with an oblique medium 14k nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
