Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Antoine de Saint-Exupery Writers Limited Edition Mechanical Pencil, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box and unstamped information booklet. The pencil has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition.

 

 

Ever year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 2017 it was the legendary French writer, poet, aristocrat and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

 

 

 

The design of the pen takes its inspiration from his aircraft, Caudron Simon, and his famous novel “Night Flight”. The engravings depict the sky observed by him on 1st November 1929 and 23:00, with other details reflecting the cockpit of his plane. On the piston cone are engraved the geographical locations of important cities in his life.

 

 

 

The pencil is fitted with 0.7mm leads.
