Montblanc Agatha Christie Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen – INKED ONCE

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this legendary Montblanc Agatha Christie Writers Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box and information booklet – confirming first purchase on 1st September 1994. The pen was only inked once to test and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 30,000 pens were produced and this is number 19420. The M sticker, confirming a medium nib, can be found attached to the booklet.

Released in 1993, as part of the yearly Writers Edition, the Agatha Christie has become a Montblanc legend. The trim is sterling silver, with the barrel and cap being black resin The clip is shaped like a snake, which hints at the creeping tension of the author’s novels. The snakes eyes are set with two rubies.

The pen features a 18k medium nib, which continues the serpent theme and it’s a piston filling pen, so bottled ink is your choice here.
