Montblanc 280 Makrolon Ballpoint Pen

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc 220 Makrolon Matte Black Ballpoint Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been carefully used over the decades and is presented in overall excellent condition.

The 280 is one of our favourite vintage offerings from Montblanc and it represents tremendous value for money. Long before the Ultra Black series, these beauties were available – featuring a similar brushed matte black appearance to the Lamy 2000, these are very comfortable writers and look great. The trim is gold-plated and the iconic Montblanc snowcap can be found atop the cap.

The pen is fitted with a new refill – the mechanism on these involves operating the lever either up or down that sits inside the clip.
