Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Leonardo Supernova Primary Manipulation 4 Limited Edition Ruthenium Fountain Pen, which comes with its Leonardo presentation box (including outer) and bottle of ink. The pen was only inked once and is presented in essentially as new condition – there is a tiny mark on the feed and this is shown in the photos. Only 199 pens were produced and the limitation number can be found on the end of the piston cone.

If you’ve come this far, then you’ll likely know about Primary Manipulation! If not, here’s a quick introduction – the resin used for this pen is made by US resin maker Jonathan Brooks. He’s renowned for his Primary Manipulation resins, which have to be seen to be appreciated. Working with Leonardo, this is the PM4 version, which features myriad of metallic tones – the trim is ruthenium-plated.

The pen is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The pen is fitted with a ruthenium-plated 14k size #6 stub nib and it features a black ebonite feed.
