Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Primary Manipulation LE 2020 Stromboli Fountain Pen, which comes with its Leonardo presentation box (including outer), bottle of ink and information booklet – confirming first purchase on 20th July 2020. The pen has barely been used and is presented in fantastic condition. The way the ebonite feed has been cut makes it look off centre, but we’ve fully write tested the pen and it’s a lovely smooth stub.
If you’ve come this far, then you’ll likely know about Primary Manipulation! If not, here’s a quick introduction – the resin used for this pen is made by US resin maker Jonathan Brooks. He’s renowned for his Primary Manipulation resins, which have to be seen to be appreciated. Working with Leonardo, this is from the first release and arguably the most impressive. This batch was available in two colour schemes and this is the Stromboli version.
The first batch pens have a different cap design and three, rather than two cap rings.
The pen is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The pen is fitted with a 14k size #6 stub nib and it features an ebonite feed.
The important details are as follows…
Condition: Fantastic
Box: Leonardo
Nib: Stub
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
