Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Primary Manipulation LE 2020 Vesuvio Second Batch Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition. The Second Batch pens are easily distinguishable as they have two cap rings rather than three.

If you’ve come this far, then you’ll likely know about Primary Manipulation! If not, here’s a quick introduction – the resin used for this pen is made by US resin maker Jonathan Brooks. He’s renowned for his Primary Manipulation resins, which have to be seen to be appreciated. Working with Leonardo, this is the 2020 Second Batch, of which only 50 (unnumbered) of each of the two colours were produced. This Vesuvio version, with its delightful red, purple, orange and even blue colour scheme.

The pen is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The pen is fitted with a 14k size #6 broad nib and it features an ebonite feed.
