Graf von Faber Intuition Platino Grenadilla Fountain Pen

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Graf von Faber-Castell Intuition Platino Grenadilla Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden presentation box (including outers) and soft pouch. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition – the nib photos show a small mark at the end of the nib, but we’ve given the pen an extended write test and it’s a lovely smooth writer.

Graf von Faber-Castell are renowned for the quality and finish of their writing instruments and the Intuition Platino is a great representation of their skill. The little details, such as the spring clip, really set this above many other brands.

The barrel is crafted from grenadilla wood, with the cap being platinum-plated.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib (the same nib used on the Pen of the Year series) and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink. To expose the converter, you turn the end of the barrel in an anti-clockwise direction. Then once the converter is filled, you place the nib unit back in the barrel and turn the end of the barrel clockwise.
