Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this outstanding Graf von Faber-Castell Pen of the Year 2004 Amber Room Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Graf von Faber-Castell presentation box (including outer), information booklet and stamped card. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. This is number 0416.
Graf von Faber-Castell are renowned for the quality and finish of their writing instruments and the Pen of the Year series is at the heart of this reputation. The 2004 edition is arguably the most stunning of them all. Taking its inspiration from the world-famous ‘Amber Room’ at the Catherine Palace, the barrel features amber rings, with platinum-plated rings inbetween each section. The person responsible (Boris Igdalov) for overseeing the recreation of the original Amber Room, was also in charge of the amber work on these pens.
The pen features an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
