Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Graf von Faber-Castell Pen of the Year 2003 Snakewood Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Graf von Faber-Castell lacquered presentation box (including outers) and certificate. The pen has never been inked and is presented in wonderful condition. Only 1500 pens unnumbered pens were produced.
Graf von Faber-Castell are renowned for the quality and finish of their writing instruments and the Pen of the Year series is at the heart of this reputation. This pen holds a special place in the history of this series, as 2003 was the first release.
The barrel is crafted from glorious Snakewood, which is known for its weight and exclusivity – usually being reserved for violin bows and carved works of art. The cap and trim are platinum-plated.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
