Delta Rediscover Pompeii Numbered Edition Celluloid Fountain Pen – UNUSED

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Delta Rediscover Pompeii Numbered Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Delta presentation box (including outers – a little wear to these), bottle of ink and information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition.

Delta require no introduction and since they stopped producing writing instruments, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically!

The Rediscover Pompeii pens are amongst the most sought after of all the Delta offerings and this is due to incredible celluloid that was used – the vibrant yellow-toned barrel and cap feature black streaks running through the celluloid. Yellow was chosen as scientists discovered that the colour of the walls of houses in Pompeii were yellow.

The main cap band is crafted from sterling silver, with the remaing trim being rhodium-plated.

The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
