Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this rare Conway Stewart Wellington Rioja Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Conway Stewart presentation box (including outer) and paperwork – confirming first purchase on 18th September 2009. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. Only 50 pens were produced and this is number 21.
The Wellington Rioja was released in 2009 and the resin features a rich blend of red and black tones. The trim is gold-plated and the main cap ring is crafted from solid 18ct gold. This edition was the last time that CS used the Rioja resin on the Wellington.
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
The important details are as follows…
Condition: Fantastic
Box: Conway Stewart
Nib: Fine
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
