The barrel and cap are crafted from “bracket brown” resin, which has myriad of brown, orange and black tones. The main cap band is solid 18k gold, with the remainder of the trim being gold-plated.

 

 

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink. There appears to be a slight ‘wave’ in the gold towards the end of the nib, but we’ve fully write tested the pen and it’s a delight.
