Thanks for looking at our listing for this Cartier Panthere de Cartier Gold-Plated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Must de Cartier presentation box (including outer), unstamped information booklet and box containing 6 blue ink cartridges (the full box would hold 10). The pen has been lightly used and is presented in excellent condition.
Cartier pens are renowned for their quality of finish and this one is no different. The Panthere collection pens are extremely eye-catching and this version with its gold-plated cap and barrel is one of our favourites. The clip marking confirms that this pen was produced in 1990. Atop the cap and at the end of the barrel you’ll find a synthetic onyx.
The pen is fitted with an 18k double broad nib (it’s difficult to confirm that it’s a BB as Cartier made very few of these style nibs and they have no specific markings, but it’s certainly wider than a broad). It’s a cartridge / converter filler (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds.
The important details are as follows…
– Excellent Condition
– Cartier Presentation Box
– 18k Double Broad Nib
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
