Montblanc Meisterstück UNICEF 2017 Doue 145 Classique Fountain Pen, which comes with it’s large presentation box. The M sticker confirming a medium nib can still be found on the barrel.
The Montblanc and UNICEF collaboration is one that stretches back to 2004 and April 2017 saw the release of the latest collection – inspired by the rosetta stone, an artefact used to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics, which dates back to 196 BC. Adorning the top of the cap is a sapphire, the symbol of the partnership with UNICEF.The first letters that children learn is the inspiration for the design that covers the cap.
The pen has never been inked and as such is presented in wonderful condition – there are some very light marks from storage on the grip section, but that’s being really picky. The platinum trim and steel cap are bright, with the black precious resin exhibiting a deep glow.
Being a Classique fountain pen, this is a cartridge / converter (supplied) pen, so you have the best of both worlds. The pen is fitted with an 18k bi-tone medium nib.
