Montblanc Meisterstuck Gold Line Bordeaux 145 Chopin Fountain Pen, which comes with its presentation box (some wear to the edges), Chopin CD and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase from Pen Sense on 9th August 2008. The pen appears to have only been used lightly used and as such is presented in very good condition – the gold trim is bright and the bordeaux precious resin has a deep shine.
We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin pens and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now very difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.
The 145 or Chopin as it’s known is a cartridge / converter (supplied) filling pen, so you get the best of both worlds.
The important details are as follows…
-14K Bi-Tone Medium Nib
– Cartridge / Converter Pen
– Serial Number and Germany markings present
– Very Good Condition
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller.
The current retail price is £425.00 for the equivalent Classique, so this represents a great opportunity to purchase a rare Bordeaux example at a great price.
