Montblanc Boheme Pirouette Lilas Fountain pen, which comes with it’s Montblanc presentation box, unstamped service guide and white outer box. The M sticker confirming an 18k medium nib can still be found on the barrel and the empty demonstration cartridge is inside the pen.
For those not familiar with the Boheme range, they’re the perfect size for travelling and taking to meetings.
The Pirouette Lilas was released in 2008 and is part of the precious metals collection. The clip features a purple, paramount cut, amtheyst gemstone and the cap features a floating circles guilloche pattern, with it then being red gold plated. The barrel has an anthracite coloured lacquer with the same guilloche pattern underneath. It really is an absolutely stunning writing instrument, in fact here at izods we think it might be our favourite Boheme model. This is another of the ‘La Danse’ series of Boheme’s.
The overall condition is virtually as new, with it having never been used. The serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip.
The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small (the most common) and it features the ingenious retractable nib, which was modelled on this historic safety pens. To raise or lower the nib unit, you simply turn the end of the pen – when not in use the nib is fully retracted. This is a cartridge filling pen, so perfect for taking out and about to meetings.
