For those not familiar with the Boheme range, they’re the perfect size for travelling and taking to meetings.
The Arabesque Azur was released in 2008 and is part of the previous metals collection. The clip features a blue, paramount cut, sapphire gemstone and both the cap and barrel are crafted from sterling silver – the correct hallmarks can be found engraved on the pen. The pen itself features a fascinating design, which was inspired by the motion created by dance, hence being part of the ‘La Danse’ series.
The overall condition is excellent, with the pen having only been lightly used. The serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip.
The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small (the most common) and it features the ingenious retractable nib, which was modelled on this historic safety pens. To raise or lower the nib unit, you simply turn the end of the pen – when not in use the nib is fully retracted. This is a cartridge filling pen, so perfect for taking out and about to meetings.
The nib is a 18k medium offering… it lays down a lovely, smooth line.
